Da fotografo non vedo l'immagine come un file da consegnare, ma come il punto di arrivo di un ragionamento che inizia prima dello scatto. Per questo lavoro sempre a stretto contatto con art director e studi: è lì che si capisce se un'idea regge.
Questo modo di lavorare mi ha permesso di affrontare progetti dove la posta è alta: materiali che non puoi spostare,
superfici che riflettono tutto, tempi stretti, prototipi che non esistono ancora. In questi casi fotografia e 3D fotorealistico non sono due strade diverse, li uso insieme nello stesso progetto. Così mantengo la stessa luce, gli stessi materiali, e il risultato non si distingue dalla realtà.

As a photographer, I don't see the image as a file to deliver, but as the end point of a thought process that begins before the shot. That's why I always work closely with art directors and studios: that's where you find out if an idea actually holds.
This way of working has allowed me to take on projects where the stakes are high: materials you can't move, surfaces that reflect everything, tight deadlines, prototypes that don't exist yet. In these cases photography and photorealistic 3D are not two separate paths — I use them together in the same project. Same light, same materials, and a result you can't tell from reality.
